NELSON PLACE PARK

Public BBQ

A quiet, low-key park on a cul-de-sac at Newmarket, looking out over the school oval. There is a small play area, a grassy stretch for ball games, a water fountain, a toilet and barbecue facilities, which makes it a workable spot for small children or a family gathering. There is not much of a view, and it could do with a bit more maintenance than it gets. Several visitors would like to see part of it fenced for dogs off lead.
